While attending the IDEAL cluster meeting in Athens we were invited to visit our partner research team and facility at NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​.

Prof. Heidi Salonen (Aalto University) leader of the InChildHealth project and Dr. Emmanuelle Castagnoli attended the visit hosted by Dr. Lila Diapouli and Dr. Kostas Eleftheriadis from the Aerosol Group of the Environmental Radioactivity Laboratory. Their state-of-the-art laboratory and research team is focusing on aerosol exposure assessment in both ambient and indoor microenvironments. Their team also has an extensive experience in source identification, risk assessment and apportionment of air pollution.
